My
turn-around time has been approximately three months.
Before
shipping your damaged item(s) to me, please provide well-focused
pictures that clearly show all of the damaged areas.
Please include accurate measurements
of each damaged area.
****I
cannot provide an exact price for my work until I see all
of the damages in person. I charge by time and materials,
basing my time at $40 per hour, except with lacework. Please
note that there is a minimum charge of $85 per item, and a
minimum charge of $125 for lacework. Shipping and handling
costs are additional.****
****If
you ship your piece to me and decide not to have any restoration
work done after my evaluation, there will be a $25 handling
charge for my time to re-pack your pieces and to make trips
to the shipping store. There will be no handling charge if
you have restoration work done.****
Packing
Tips: You are welcome to ship your pieces to me for a complimentary
evaluation. Once you decide to ship something to me, please
make sure that each piece is wrapped securely in large-bubble
bubble wrap, and then placed in a well-fitting cardboard box.
The smaller box, or boxes, should then be placed in a large
carton that has been completely filled with Styrofoam peanuts.
All smaller boxes should be totally surrounded by peanuts
and should not touch another cardboard edge.
